What is Stratezyme?
Compared to all other road treatment materials now in use, STRATEZYME, a complex non-bacterial concentrated multi-enzymatic formulation that alters the properties of earth material, produces a superior road base stabilization. STRATEZYME provides additional advantages to road builders, communities and the environment by being non-toxic, non-corrosive and totally biodegradable.
STRATEZYME causes the soil to bond during compaction into a dense permanent base which resists water penetration, weathering and wear. This process takes place in 72 hours under normal summer conditions. A properly treated STRATEZYME base becomes almost impervious to water penetration and much more resistant to frost heaving.
